The January blues are in full swing and Winter Love Island is about to hit out screens.
This can only mean one thing… time to book a holiday!

The Canary Islands
Don’t fancy a long-haul flight? The Canary Islands offer plenty of sun, sea and sand without the tiring journey. Here you’ll find popular destinations such as Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote – so there’s plenty of choice and the chance to do some island hopping! Expect temperatures of around 20 degrees – perfect if you aren’t a fan of crazy heat.
There’s plenty to do on the Canary Islands – make a splash at water parks, sunbathe on pristine beaches or relax in one of the natural pools.
Mexico
Mexico is becoming a popular winter sun escape thanks to its white sand beaches and high temperatures – even in winter, it’s around 30 degrees! Cancun offers the best of both worlds with tropical scenery and a bustling city with plenty of restaurants, nightclubs and bars.
Morocco
Another great option if you’re avoiding long flights, Morocco has so much to offer. Marrakesh offers stunning architecture, cafes, markets and delicious food. The temperatures are a little cooler in winter, ranging from 14 to 20 degrees, which means you can explore without getting too hot and bothered.
Dubai
For endless entertainment, look no further than Dubai. Filled with skyscrapers, famous shopping malls and amusement parks, Dubai offers a whole lot more than a beach (although it has plenty of those, too). Home to some of the world’s most iconic landmarks like The Palm and Burj Khalifa, there’s plenty do to from sightseeing to sunbathing.
In our opinion, winter is actually the best time to visit Dubai, as the temperatures are considerably cooler – they can reach over 40 degrees in summer!
Cyprus
Boasting the warmest winters in the Med, Cyprus is the perfect escape from the winter weather! With average temperatures of around 23 degrees and sunshine pretty much all year round, plus great beaches, wine and nature, we’re tempted to book flights RIGHT NOW!
Thailand
Thailand is hot all year round making it the perfect place to soak up some winter sun. The southern Islands such as Phi Phi and Phuket offer white sandy beaches and turquoise waters – you can even take day tours which allow you to see multiple islands during your stay!
Known for a vibrant party scene, cheap markets and delicious food, it’s certainly worth the long-haul flight!
