Who doesn’t love a festive day out at a Christmas market? There’s hot chocolate, churros (OMG, yum!), and mulled wine, not to mention all of the cute little gifts you can pick up for your loved ones. If you’re going for the full day, then you’re going to need an amazing outfit for all the selfies you’ll be taking for Insta. You never know, after a beer or two at the German beer tent you might even want to make a night of it. We share some ideas on what to wear to a Christmas market below.
Jumper and a Midi Skirt
Oversized jumpers paired with midi skirts and boots are this season’s biggest trend – we’re in love. If you really want to be fashion forward we recommend pairing a super snuggly oversized jumper in either cream or grey with a snake print midi skirt. If you’re planning on taking it from day to night then we’re going to let you in on a little trick. Wear a midi length shirt dress under your jumper and you’ve instantly got two outfits – one for day, and one for night.
Jeans and a Nice Coat
Jeans a nice top never fails, so why not bring these vibes up a level by wearing a glamorous coat over the top to keep you cosy and stylish. Teddy style shaggy jackets are a popular choice this winter and they are so, so warm. If you want to look more sophisticated then we’re loving a midi length tailored coat finished with a faux fur collar. Style it up with stiletto boots and skinny jeans, to be looking chic from head to toe.
Layer a Gilet and Jumper
We’ve been loving faux fur gilets for years now. They are always a winner in winter and are absolutely perfect for a Christmas market day. We like to layer ours over a jumper with some cute detailing. Whether it’s a peplum, a pearl feature or a roll neck, knitwear is an absolute essential. Fleeky winter glam at its best.
Christmas Jumper and Wet Look Leggings
Well we couldn’t write this post without mentioning a Christmas jumper now, could we?! With us, every day in December is Christmas jumper day!
