It’s party time!
Time to get those brand-new party shoes out of the box and hit the dance floor! There’s nothing worse than getting sore feet when you’re trying to have a good time, so we’ve put together this epic party shoe survival guide full of handy tips and tricks!
Pick the Right Shoes
Some gals can strut their stuff in skyscraper heels, but some of us just aren’t made to walk on stilts! Choosing the right pair of high heels and trying them on before the big night out is crucial. Block heels tend to be much comfier and easier to walk in than stilettos, so if you’re not a heels pro you may want to opt for this style!

Invest In Some Insoles
Insoles could be your new best friend! Designed to provide a more comfortable fit, there are different types of insoles and which ones you need will depend on the type of shoes you’ll be using them with. You know we’re always willing to help our PB gals out, which is why we’ve stocked up on insoles that go hand-in-hand with our party shoes!
Heel Shields
Designed especially for high heels, our heel shields are made from a clear silicone and prevent your shoes from slipping and rubbing. Simply stick them onto the backs of your shoes and you’re good to go.
Gel Cushion Insoles
Treat your feet to their very own cushions! These gel insoles are made from clear silicone so they’re super discreet. These provide a little extra comfort as well as relief for the balls of your feet, which we’re sure every gal who’s ever worn a pair of heels will appreciate!
Stretchy Gel Insoles
These gel insoles work in a similar way to cushions, but you can stretch them to the size of your shoes for a perfect fit! If you find that regular insoles aren’t quite working for you, these stretchy gel insoles may be the solution.
Handy Tips & Tricks
1. Tape your 3rd and 4th toes together
Believe it or not, this is said to work wonders! The theory is that it alleviates pressure on the nerves which therefore reduces pain.
2. Take blister plasters in your bag
Hopefully it won’t come to this, but it’s always a good idea to be prepared. Pop some blister plasters in your clutch before you head out so if your shoes start to rub and cause pain, you can sort out the problem straight away.
3. Keep your shoes on all night
We’ve all been there – your feet hurt, you’ve had a few cocktails, and before you know it the shoes are off! This can actually make matters worse, as the constant pulling on and off of your shoes can damage the skin on your feet further.
